Our Partner Engineer position is a highly versatile technical role within the business development organization, whose mission is to increase revenue and drive product adoption through highly leveraged and mutually beneficial technology partnerships. In this role, you will help develop and manage the relationships with a broad community of technology and developer partners, while coordinating closely with internal product, sales and marketing teams to drive successful product integrations and deployments.

This position requires strong knowledge in web application technologies and platforms, front end development (HTML, Flash and JavaScript) as well as familiarity in iOS, Android and client application development environments. You will be experienced in software development and web programming, technical sales, and program management to enable you to lead partner design and development discussions against thePlatform's extensive SDK and APIs. You will be extremely organized and technical with excellent communication skills which will allow you to effectively lead the coordination of joint product designs and development efforts with a wide range of partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technology partner-facing relationships and programs
  • Work directly with technology, integration and reseller partners to establish and lead the technical relationship.
  • Oversee product integration and plugin development efforts and help coordinate customer engagements.
  • Develop tools and programs to make our external and partner facing efforts more efficient and operationalized
  • Respond to new and existing partner requests for technical information across a broad range of topics and answer technical questions throughout the partnership cycle.
  • Advocate and evangelize thePlatform's product and strategic position to a variety of partners and across a broad range of people from senior executives, architects, developers and sales & marketing.
  • Identify new technical market opportunities, emerging technology trends and competitive analysis.
  • Provide technical insight and support to our business development, product, and sales teams.
  • Prepare & deliver product/solution demonstrations and technical presentations to a mix of both senior technical and business audiences.
  • Successfully guide partners through initial contact, training, solution design and architecture, development and testing and product launch.
  • Support partner coordinated go-to-market activities and pre-sales initiatives with in-depth product, partner and industry domain knowledge.



Requirements:

  • 5+ years technology or digital media experience, preferably in a software development environment. 
  • Experience in project management and customer facing solution sales or client services.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including functional and technical specifications, implementation, QA processes, deployment, and maintenance and familiarity with building applications using external SDKs.
  • Solid understanding of Web Service technologies and digital media standards and protocols. 
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Groovy and XML.
  • Interest and ability to quickly learn new technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to comprehend, develop and support complex business and technical initiatives.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize against competing work streams and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
