Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Summary:
The Senior Analyst position is an essential part of the Business Intelligence team which serves to implement The Centers’ strategy focused on translating data into actionable information across the organization. The Analyst will work closely with the rest of the team and under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer to manage Business Intelligence work streams which support the implementation of an organization outcomes and impact dashboard tool, operational dashboard tools, client demographics and trends, and front-line staff goals and metrics.

The analyst will lead and perform complex analysis in an evolving data environment. Ideal candidate would have not only strong technical skills, but advanced business process and interpersonal skills. This position also plays a vital role in advancing the organization’s efforts around continuous improvement and integration of technology tools.

Must-Have’s:
Bachelor’s degree required with a demonstrated focus on statistics, data analytics and/or information technology such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Sciences, etc. Master’s Degree is preferred. 
Prior experience in a data-driven position or field is preferred. Candidate must be able to demonstrate broad experience working with large data sets to conduct ongoing analysis. Must have at least 3-5 years experience out of school in applying skills. Prior experience in a role that utilizes social service, health care, economic development or related data is a plus. 

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts and topics for a broad audience including the Board of Directors, C-Suite leadership and front-line staff. Must be able to ‘tell the story’ using data and influence others. Must be able to represent the team successfully to a diverse audience of stakeholders.

Proven self-starter, problem-solver with a capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Proven capacity to work well within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where details matter. 

Technical skills:
MS Excel; MS Access; MS Word; MS Outlook 
Proficient in SPSS or other statistical software 
Prior experience with database and data warehouse
Awareness of and experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports
