Sr. Software Engineer 
Natera’s mission is to give couples the best chance of having a healthy child and we need your help to bring the latest technology in genetics together with advanced signal processing and statistics. 

We’re building a team of engineers who want to build software that lasts -- extensible, testable and self-documenting. No biology background is required but this is an excellent opportunity for a strong senior engineer who would like to bring their skills and expertise to the Life Science Industry. The ideal candidate for this position has strong commercial backend experience in an agile environment. You should have an intimate understanding of Java from the framework level down to the VM.

Your initial responsibilities will be to:
Collaborate on cloud based software for worldwide distribution of our lab test
Build software to work with next generation genome sequencers
Collaborate on design and architecture of next version of our LIMS system
Understand our laboratory and research processes and translate them into software
Manage projects from beginning to end in a commercial environment

Skills & Requirements:
Ability to lead projects is required
Minimum BS in computer science or related field
Minimum 6 years of commercial server-side Java experience
Strong understanding of backend frameworks and ORMs are required
BPM or workflow experience a plus
Automated testing experience a strong plus
Comfortable juggling multiple projects
