Summary of Job Description:

FireEye is seeking experienced, exceptional individuals for our Advanced Technology Sales Team. We are currently hiring talent to support expanding sales in our Southern California region. We expect the successful candidate to develop and retain customers, including those from FireEye's existing client base. The Advanced Technology Sales Team sells the Mandiant branded products and services and works very closely with the FireEye teams. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for meeting quarterly and annual revenue goals in support of FireEye's Advanced Technology Products and Services. You should have experience developing opportunities from initial leads to successful closures, as well as experience working with senior decision makers in information security. The position requires frequent domestic travel.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in sales in the areas of security incident response or system and network administration; or other relevant experience managing technical customer relationships
  • Extensive contacts in the information security field
  • Ability to explain and differentiate complex products and services
  • Ability to give customer presentations on our products and services
  • Superior negotiation and communication skills, from in-person and remote presentation to written documentation
  • Ability to work well as part of a team 
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to excellence


Education and Other Requirements:

  • History of creating rapport with customers, from line technicians to C-level executives
  • Technical understanding of incident response, network and application security
  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements pertinent to information security
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Ability to travel domestically at least 30% of the time
