This job is responsible for functioning as a member of the teaching team, which is responsible for the health, safety, sanitation, and nutrition for child care licensing and CACFP requirements. Punctuality and attendance are critical to maintaining classroom continuity. Work with special needs children is also an important part of the job.
A.To contribute with the Agency’s efforts related to prevention and integrated service delivery with other community providers.
B.To be actively involved and knowledgeable of the Agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement Activities
C.To support and contribute to inter-system collaboration with other service providers to improve service delivery systems
Sensitivity to cultural diversity is required. Will be subject to drug and alcohol screening as well as
aptitude and skills testing. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or

Child Development Associate (CDA) or twelve credit hours in Early Childhood education with enrollment and proof of attendance in a CDA program required.
Bilingual/Bicultural in English and Spanish..
Computer Literacy & Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Familiarity with computers. Programs may vary. Strong people skills: ability to express oneself clearly and effectively, superior interpersonal abilities, ability to get along with diverse persons and personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgments.
