Configuration Data Manager Support, Senior – Part Time

HX5 is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Configuration Data Manager Support, Senior within the Agile Combat Support (ACS) simulators program office to support the T-6 trainer program.
 
Experience and Knowledge
The person filling this role shall apply the fundamentals of configuration management to establish and maintain consistency of a product’s performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.  This person will plan and schedule Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), review specifications, review engineering drawings and ensure appropriate documentation is reflected on government-controlled baselines.  He / She will also analyze the process of life-cycle sustainment and assist with Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) activities.  This person will confirm adequacy of data used to support Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), assist in the review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Request for Deviations (RFDs) for formal and content requirements, manage and maintain SharePoint and Portal Page content.  He / She will also assist in the development and operation of the CCB charter and perform other duties as assigned.
 
 Education and Skills
·        15 years of experience in Configuration Management  
·        Working knowledge with the following:
o   T.O.00-35D-54
o   MIL-HDBK-61A
o   EIA 649
o   MIL-STD-963B
o   DoD 5010.12-M
o   DoD 5230.24
o   DoD 5230.25
o   AFI 61-204
·        Experience in developing audit plans;
·        Must be detail oriented to confirm adequacy of data for use in audits;
·        Must be able to identify issues and action items; review draft minutes;
·        Monitor corrective actions and closure of action items; and
·        Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
·        Must have excellent leadership skills, able to oversee efforts and/or be responsible for lower level teammates and other staff assigned to specific tasks
·        Must be able to prioritize and meet strict deadline.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance by time of start
**Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
