HX5 is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the as Client Service Administrator at Schriever AFB.
The systems administrator administers the operations of computer systems related to operating systems, servers, and end-user workstation. Although the administrator is not responsible for writing new application software, the administrator demonstrates understanding of how software behaves in order to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot systems. Additionally, the administrator researches new technologies and leverages optimization techniques to ensure that systems operate efficiently.
This person must understand the dependencies of other technical services running in the enterprise environment (i.e., system to service dependencies). Representative technical certifications at this level may include Microsoft certifications and ITILv3.
Experience and Knowledge
  • A High school diploma (or GED), and 4 years of general experience and/or Associates degree, and 2 years of general experience
  • General experience must include 2 years of related experience in help desk ticketing software, incident troubleshooting and escalation, or using remoted desktop management tools and familiarity with ITILv3 or related service delivery frameworks
  • Must have a general PC and Microsoft Office troubleshooting skills and the ability to clearly converse with customers at all levels
  • Must be enrolled in Continuing Education (CE) with a Security+ certification or other IAT level II 8570 compliant certification or above
  • Must be able to travel 10%; this may include air travel
*Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance by time of start
**Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
 
Desired:
Previous Service Desk experience, Active Directory, Exchange and Remedy experience. Scripting: Power Shell is a plus.
