HX5 is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Senior Acquisition Logistician in support of the Agile Combat Support (ACS) program. The position will accomplish logistics support tasks to assist with the planning, managing, and coordination of life-cycle logistics support for the C-130  Simulator. This person will review programming documents to assess the impact of external actions and conflicting priorities to determine their impact on the program’s development, production, and integrated logistics support to ensure programs are within established plan parameters. Tasks for this position include:
 
  • Identify and correlate specific requirements for money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support the program;
  • Develop and analyze data to determine logistics objectives and goals;
  • Identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements)
  • Establish relationships between participants involved in deploying the plan.
     
Experience and Knowledge:
 
The person in this role will accomplish logistics support tasks to support day-to-day operations within the Simulator Division.  Must have understanding of the theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well-structured, and viable program.  Must have understanding of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition.  They will have a working understanding of contractual processes, procedures, and technical requirements.
 
This person needs to have a working knowledge of logistics policy and guidance, including Title 10 United States Code Section 2466, Limitations on the Performance of Depot-Level Maintenance of Materiel; Air Force Systems such as SMART, LIMS-EV, REMIS, DSOR II, CAM, ETIMS, JCALS; NSN Stock Record Accounts and Supply Systems; Technical Orders, Technical Manuals and the Technical Order process; Life Cycle Logistics Plans; Logistics Health Assessments; Unit Compliance Inspections, etc. 
 
 Education and Skills:                          
 
  • Bachelor’s degree and 18 years of direct related experience or a master’s degree and 10 years of direct related experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess excellent leadership skills, able to oversee efforts and/or be responsible for lower level staff
  • Must be able to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
 
*Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
**Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
