HX5 is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Acquisition Logistician, Senior in support of the EPASS Mobility Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.  This Acquisition Logistician will support FMS activities for various efforts within the Mobility Directorate’s Commercial Derivative Aircraft Division.  The selected candidate will assist partner countries with base support requirements, organic, depot, and support contractor activities, and required supply chain management functions.  They will provide guidance and support for spares, support equipment, training, facilities, back-shops, transportation, and any key logistics metrics they require. He or she will be responsible for all aircraft logistical support issues throughout the life cycle of each FMS case.
 
Experience and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will apply knowledge and experience in logistics philosophy, concepts, legislation, policies, directives, and procedures to FMS and USAF systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/ program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout the life cycles.  
 
The selected candidate will coordinate all logistics elements (e.g., spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, provisioning, etc.) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the Mobility Directorate's needs. 
 
He/she shall perform as a key participant in developing long-term weapon system supportability approaches, obtain needed logistics resources, and participate in site surveys and program reviews. The candidate will perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements. The selected candidate will provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation and participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings. The selected candidate shall monitor, review, analyze and coordinate security activities concerning DoD and other agencies to ensure compliance with established policies, LORs, and LOAs, the Foreign Assistance Act, the Arms Export Control Act and other legislation as required. 
 
This person will use AFSAC Online and SAMIS to support country requisition requirements and to support repair/return/replacement and Parts and Repair Ordering System V (PROS). They must have knowledge of Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) processes and procedures, and have knowledge of controlled exceptions to be cleared thru AFSAC Online.
 
They must be a self-starter and require very little to no supervision, while being able to work in a dynamic team environment.
 
Education and Skills:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum Fifteen (15) years direct related experience; or Associates degree with a minimum thirteen (13)    years of direct related experience; or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum ten (10) years of direct related experience; or a Master’s degree with a minimum eight   (8) years of direct related experience.
Must be able to assist more senior positions and/ or perform functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions
Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must have an active SECRET security clearance by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment in this position with HX5
