Executive Director of Graduate Enrollment
FLSA STATUS:  Salaried, exempt
DEPARTMENT: Enrollment Management & Marketing
REPORTS TO: Vice President for Enrollment Management & Marketing
JOB STATUS: Full-time (at least 37.5 hours per week)

Reporting to the Vice President, the Executive Director of Graduate Enrollment is a key member of the university’s enrollment management and marketing leadership team. The Executive director is responsible for setting graduate enrollment strategy, informing graduate tuition pricing, planning all graduate program recruitment, managing graduate college admission and coordinating graduate program marketing and advertising. The Executive Director informs enrollment forecasting for each graduate program, and develops and coordinates effective recruitment strategy and marketing communications to achieve enrollment goals. The Executive Director devises tactics, manages department planning and activities, monitors and prepares the department budget, and develops and supervises department personnel and programs.

  1. Manage the Office of Graduate Enrollments, its staff, resources and enrollment goals.
  2. Develop individual graduate program enrollment plans with strategies, objectives and tactics to achieve graduate enrollment targets and goals.
  3. Manage graduate enrollment funnel analysis, reporting, and progress to enrollment goals.
  4. Work with deans to forecast and establish graduate enrollment goals for each graduate program.
  5. Foster strong relationships with each school’s dean and program director to help ensure communication and planning between college and graduate enrollment office.
  6. Assist in competitive analysis to set optimal and competitive graduate program tuition pricing.
  7. Serve as liaison for graduate level external strategic partners and vendors.
  1. Develop and manage individual graduate program recruitment plans with the Director of Graduate Recruitment.
  2. Continually improve targeted, strategic marketing and communication plans for prospects, inquiries, and applicants for each School, highlighting Dominican’s unique strengths in graduate education.
  3. Work with the deans, associate/assistant deans and the Office of Marketing and Communications to develop electronic and paper promotional materials including brochures and advertisements.
  4. Coordinate with Office of Marketing and Communications on annual marketing/advertising plans for each college.
  5. Develop outreach recruitment programs with recruitment staff for each college.
  6. Establish external partnerships and agreements with corporate, educational, and government organizations.
  7. Coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruitment events and opportunities.
  1. Manage and maintain all graduate admission requirements with program deans and directors.
  2. Manage graduate admission application maintenance.
  3. Work with enrollment and marketing systems to ensure availability of online graduate admission assets such as inquiry forms, online application, Live Chat, etc.
  4. Manage the automated communication plan for prospective graduate students along the admission funnel.
  5. Ensure application process and maintenance is effective and efficient through to registration.
  6. Coordinate with partner offices such as registrar, financial aid, and student engagement to help develop an optimized student experience through to enrollment.

  2. Perform other duties as requested, delegated or assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of direct graduate enrollment experience preferred
