The Spanish Discipline in the Department of Modern Foreign Languages at Dominican University is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach one course in the Spanish discipline and direct the University Language Learning Center.
The Director of the Language Learning Center responsibilities include maintaining software, supervising student assistants, preparing the lab for use by students and faculty, and organizing schedules. The Director of the Language Learning Lab position requires approximately 10-15 hours per week on campus, and is paid by stipend. This is a semester-to-semester contracted position open to renewal.
Available courses for spring 2019 include the following:
Candidates must have an M.A. in Spanish (or related field); language teaching experience preferred. Applicants must have good organizational skills and familiarity with basic computer technology.
